**[Austin Reed](https://uflnewshub.com/player/austin-reed-34164)'s chase for greatness meets a Columbus defense that's given up more points than a blackjack dealer in Vegas.**

Three weeks into the UFL season and we've already got some clear favorites emerging. Reed and the Renegades sit pretty at 2-0, while the [Aviators](https://uflnewshub.com/ufl/learned-ufl-week-two) and Kings are still searching for their first wins. This week's slate has some serious cash-game locks mixed with tournament-winning upside plays.

## Must-Start Players

These guys are setting lineups on fire — literally too expensive to ignore.

- **Austin Reed** (QB, Dallas) — $10,000: Reed is putting together a legendary spring season with 616 yards and 7 TDs through two games. Columbus has looked lost on defense, and this Dallas offense is clicking like a Swiss watch. Reed's the chalk for good reason.
- **[Tyler Vaughns](https://uflnewshub.com/player/tyler-vaughns-29670)** (WR, Dallas) — $8,700: The perfect Reed stack. Vaughns torched defenses for 290 yards and 4 TDs already, including that record-breaking 11-catch performance. Columbus can't cover anybody, and Vaughns is Reed's favorite target by a mile.
- **[Deon Jackson](https://uflnewshub.com/player/deon-jackson-33148)** (RB, DC) — $8,800: Four rushing TDs in two games is video game numbers. Houston's run defense got gashed by [Birmingham](https://uflnewshub.com/ufl/race-ufl-mvp---week-two)'s ground game, and Jackson is hitting holes like he's got a GPS system. The price is steep but the floor is concrete.

## Top Value Plays

Where the sharp money finds edges — these salaries don't match the opportunity.

- **Jalen White** (RB, Houston) — $6,000: White carved up DC for 82 yards and a score in limited work. With Houston's backfield still figuring itself out, White's getting quality touches at a discount. The Defenders' run defense isn't exactly the Steel Curtain.
- **Zaquandre White** (RB, Columbus) — $6,800: Two TDs through two games despite Columbus looking terrible everywhere else. Dallas has been leaky against the run, and White's getting goal-line work. Perfect pivot off Jackson in tournaments.
- **Elijhah Badger** (WR, Orlando) — $5,900: This kid is unconscious — 191 yards and a TD on just 8 catches. Louisville's secondary is Swiss cheese, and Plummer is finding Badger in traffic. Best value on the slate.
- **Tay Martin** (WR, Columbus) — $5,600: McClendon's safety blanket with 143 yards and a score. Dallas will probably be ahead early, forcing Columbus into passing mode. Martin runs crisp routes and finds soft spots in coverage.
- **Tyler Neville** (TE, St. Louis) — $3,500: Two TDs on minimal targets screams red zone vulture. Birmingham's defense has been solid, but Neville keeps finding the end zone. Cheap touchdown upside at a thin position.

## Sleeper Picks

Tournament winners come from finding these overlooked gems.

- **Ellis Merriweather** (RB, Dallas) — $4,900: The receiving back in this high-powered offense already has 60 receiving yards and a TD. If Dallas gets ahead early, Merriweather could see more work in space. PPR goldmine waiting to happen.
- **Cam Sutton** (TE, Houston) — $3,400: Eight catches for 87 yards through two games — he's basically a slot receiver at tight end pricing. DC's linebackers can't cover, and Sutton runs smooth routes underneath.
- **Lucky Jackson** (WR, Louisville) — $7,900: Already has 88 yards and a TD despite Louisville's quarterback chaos. Orlando's secondary has given up big plays, and Jackson's the one reliable target on this team. Contrarian play in a bad offense.

## Players to Avoid

- **Ty Scott** (WR, DC) — $8,600: Just 35 yards on 2 catches for this price? [Jordan Ta'amu](https://uflnewshub.com/ufl/built-to-repeat-jordan-taamu-at-the-center-of-dcs-success) is throwing more picks than completions, and this offense looks completely out of sync. Way too expensive for a struggling unit.
- **Matt Corral** (QB, Birmingham) — $9,800: Four turnovers through two games isn't what you want from your QB1. St. Louis has a sneaky good defense, and Corral's been way too careless with the football. The price doesn't match the production.
- **Hakeem Butler** (WR, St. Louis) — $8,000: Just 56 yards on 4 catches in limited action. Butler's talent is obvious, but this Battlehawks passing attack hasn't found its rhythm yet. Birmingham's secondary is solid enough to make life difficult.

## Budget Lineup of the Week

Mixing high-floor plays with tournament-winning upside while staying under the cap.

- Position | Player | Team | Salary | Why
- QB | Jack Plummer | Orlando | $9,100 | Quality production at reasonable price vs weak defense
- RB | Jalen White | Houston | $6,000 | Touchdown upside in featured role
- RB | Zaquandre White | Columbus | $6,800 | Goal-line work against leaky run defense
- WR | Elijhah Badger | Orlando | $5,900 | Best value play on the slate
- WR | Tay Martin | Columbus | $5,600 | Target hog in negative game script
- TE | Tyler Neville | St. Louis | $3,500 | Red zone vulture at minimum price
- FLEX | Lucky Jackson | Louisville | $7,900 | Contrarian play with big-play ability

**Total Salary:** $44,800 / $50,000

## Final Thoughts

This week screams Dallas stack in cash games — Reed and Vaughns are too good to fade against this Columbus defense. In tournaments, pivot to the Orlando passing game or take a shot on Columbus skill players in negative game script. The value is there if you're willing to dig for it.
