The Birmingham Stallions had an impressive inaugural season in the USFL in 2023. Under the leadership of head coach Skip Holtz, the Stallions demonstrated remarkable skill and teamwork. They played their home games at Protective Stadium and were managed by general manager Zach Potter. The Stallions finished the regular season with an 8-2 record, securing the first place in the South Division. Their successful season culminated in winning the USFL Championship, where they defeated the Pittsburgh Maulers with a score of 28-12, after a decisive victory in the Division Finals against the New Orleans Breakers (47-22). This was their second straight USFL Championship.
