The Battlehawks season did not end the way many fans, and Executives of the UFL hoped it would. After a crushing 25-15 loss to the Brahmas in the XFL Conference Championship game, Battlehawks players were stunned that their season is over, with some looking to the next phase of their careers.

One player Jacob Saylors has already begun his journey back to the NFL as the Battlehawks Running Back is set to visit the Giants on Tuesday after his All-UFL season. Saylors totaled 461 Rushing Yards and 152 Receiving Yards totaling 8 Touchdowns in the 2024 season. Saylors came to the Battlehawks on February 5th, after stints with the Bengals and Falcons.

It should be no surprise the Giants are looking at a spring football player as Assistant GM Brandon Brown has spoken very highly of Spring Football Leagues in the past. The Giants have signed 5 Spring Football players since Brown began his time with the franchise, though none have stuck around. Last season the Battlehawks saw 16 Players earn NFL contracts with Three still remaining on NFL rosters. As the NFL begins rookie mini-camp and training camp, look for more Battlehawks begin to take advantage of the opportunity the UFL gave them.
