While the Battlehawks have been pretty quiet this off season (14 players resigned), the teams social media accounts did relay that one fan favorite is coming back. Travis Feeney the 2025 UFL Sportsman of the Year returns for his 4th season with the Battlehawks as the team prepares for their new era in the UFL.

Feeney has been in pro football since 2016 getting drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in sixth round. After a two-year hiatus Feeney joined the AAF’s San Diego Fleet, before heading to the CFL from 2019 to 2021. In 2022 joined the Tampa Bay Bandits of the USFL before spending the past three years in St. Louis with the Battlehawks. Feeney has totaled 188 tackles and 17.0 sacks in 36 games (AAF, UFL, XFL, USFL) in his spring football career.

Feeney is one of the more prominent members of the Battlehawks and the UFL as a whole. He’s been a huge advocate for various St. Louis based charities in addition to consistently participating in community outreach programs throughout the city. Feeney has also been a part of various youth camps hosted on his own accord as well. Feeney now joins Pheldarius Payne, Shaka Toney, and T.J. Pesefea in the Defensive Line room who have signed for the 2026 season.
