As the UFL season goes into Week 4, the Battlehawks like many teams have begun managing their roster in an effort to maximize its efficiency. Recently, Saint Louis has placed their 1st round pick Chevan Cordeiro on Injured Reserve, and now will be placing 3rd Year Battlehawk Brandon Sebastian on Injured Reserve as well. The Battlehawks will be bringing back Avery Young per the roster page, and tweeted by James Larsen.
Young was in camp with St. Louis after signing with the team in October of last year. Prior to his release and return with the Battlehawks, Young came out of Rutgers in 2023, having stints with 49ers and Buccaneers before getting released at the conclusion of the 2023 Training Camp. Young would head to the CFL spending two months with the Hamiliton Tiger-Cats before his release in May of 2024.

Sebastian finds his way on Injured Reserve for the second time in his career with Saint Louis. The former Boston College Alum has appeared in 20 games (20 starts), registering 47 tackles, and 5 interceptions so far in his career. Recently Sebastian has been playing his best football, rating as one of PFF’s more effective players earning an 85.4 in Week 2.
The Battlehawks now own a 2-1 record going into week 4. Saint Louis is set to remain in the “hub” taking on the Arlington Renegades at 12:30pm (ET), at Choctaw Stadium in hopes of taking over 2nd place in the XFL conference.
