As the UFL off-season continues, the Battlehawks made one of their more “polarizing” roster moves of the 2024-25 season. On October 2nd, the Battlehawks brought in former 2nd round pick Andy Isabella in an effort to strengthen the receiving corps that is in a bit of flux going into 2025.
Isabella comes to St. Louis with 43 NFL games and 33 receptions under his belt. The former UMass star was most recently with the Bills in 2024 and has managed to appear in Three post season games in his Six-year NFL Career. Isabella was recently released by the Bills on August 27th, and has received workouts with the Steelers, and Falcons over the past couple months.
Isabella joins a Battlehawks Wide Receiver room that now hosts Jahcour Pearson, Jerome Kapp, Jelani Baker, and James Bostic who have signed their 2025 LOI’s. With the futures of Marcell Ateman, Darrius Shepherd, and Hakeem Butler in question the Battlehawks have strengthen their claim to return to the playoffs for the 2025 season with an NFL vet like Isabella.
