Mike Rose is back in the NFL for his third shot at the league. After another strong consecutive season with the St. Louis Battlehawks, the former Iowa State Linebacker will be signing with New Orleans per the “X” account _MLFootball.
Rose has spent the 2023 and 2024 seasons with the Battlehawks registering 80 Tackles despite dealing with injuries. Since coming out of Iowa State in 2022, Rose has spent time with the Chiefs, and Dolphins now joining the Saints with his Third NFL team. Rose is now the 2nd Linebacker and 5th Battlehawk to sign with an NFL team,
Rose also goes to New Orleans a team that has signed 8 Spring football players since 2022. Rose will look to finally stick with the Saints and if healthy should easily be able to. If released the Battlehawks will retain his rights if he chooses to return to the UFL. Rose was one of 15 UFL players to workout for NFL teams over the past several days with Matt Kaskey and Delonte Hood also signing contracts.
