Despite having clinched a playoff spot, the St. Louis Battlehawks will be facing the San Antonio Brahmas to find out who has home-field advantage for the XFL Conference Championship game. While the team is primed for their best effort, in hopes of giving the people of St. Louis Three straight games at the “Battledome”, they’ll be without some of their more experienced players going into week 10.
The Battlehawks have placed LB Lakiem Williams and WR Ja’Marcus Bradley on injured reserve as the team prepares for their most important game of the season. Williams has been with St. Louis since the 2023 season serving as a spot-starter and key contributor on Special Teams. He’s registered 62 Tackles over the past two seasons, and has spent time on the practice squad of the Saints and Seahawks.
Bradley was drafted by the Battlehawks in 2022, however opted to sign with the Steelers on their practice squad instead. Bradley would be waived with an injury settlement in August 2023 and opted to sign with the Battlehawks on December 14th. Bradley has recorded 5 receptions for 35 Yards this season for St. Louis.
The Battlehawks roster sits at 48 players with both Williams and Bradley on IR. The team has not yet announced any replacements for the Battlehawks final part of the season.
