As training camp is right around the corner, the Battlehawks have completed their coaching staff as the team pushes towards their 3rd consecutive season of play. On Wednesday Afternoon, the Battlehawks PR announced that Phil McGeoghan will be promoted to Offensive Coordinator for the 2025 season in addition to his duties as Wide Receivers Coach. The Battlehawks PR also announced that former NFL veteran Seneca Wallace will be taking over as the team’s QB Coach.
McGeoghan goes into his 2nd season with St. Louis after beginning his coaching career at the University of Maine in 2007. McGeoghan has bounced between the Division I ranks and NFL as a Wide Receivers coach most recently serving on the 2022 University of Colorado team under Karl Dorrell, and Mike Sanford Jr. (Interim HC). McGeoghan led a Battlehawks Receiving Corps in 2024 that saw Hakeem Butler win UFL Offensive Player of the Year, in addition to overseeing a group that posted the second highest scoring Offense in the UFL. This will be McGeoghan’s first opportunity as an Offensive Coordinator in his career.
Wallace comes to the Battlehawks after spending the past several years as a private coach and high school coach. Wallace was a Fourth-round pick in 2003 by the Seahawks starting games for Seattle, Green Bay, and Cleveland while also spending time in training camp with the 49ers, and Saints. Wallace threw for 4947 yards, and 31 TDs, while also adding 293 yards rushing, and 106 yards receiving in his NFL career. Wallace will lead a QB room that faces a ton of uncertainty after having one of the more consistent passers in the UFL in A.J. McCarron over the past Two Seasons.
With their staff completed, the Battlehawks will now focus their attention on the Houston Roughnecks on March 28th to kickoff the 2025 UFL season. The Battlehawks went 7-3 last year losing to the San Antonio Brahmas in the XFL Conference Championship Game.

I got an idea, how about bringing in some new names for coordinator jobs?
