
More reinforcements are coming for the Battlehawks as the UFL is under 70 days to kickoff. With roster spots quickly filling up for all 8 UFL teams the Battlehawks signed Four players this past week bringing their roster to 63 as training camp begins. In an effort to bolster their Defense, the Battlehawks returned Carson Wells, All-UFL LB Willie Harvey, along with newcomer Defensive Tackle Phil Hoskins. The Battlehawks also signed Cole Spencer Offensive Lineman from Texas Tech.
Carson Wells Linebacker
Wells returns for his 3rd season in St. Louis looking to provide depth in the Battlehawks pass rush. The Colorado alum has had stints with the Bengals, and Patriots in his NFL career being a consistent figure in Donnie Abraham’s front Seven. The versatile Linebacker has totaled 58 tackles and 5.5 sacks for St. Louis since coming to the team as a supplemental draft pick in 2023.
Willie Harvey Linebacker
Like Wells, Harvey goes into his 3rd season with St. Louis coming off a stint with the Cowboys during training camp, and an All-UFL season. Harvey has been a consistent figure for the Battlehawks defense totaling 138 tackles and 4.0 sacks in his spring football career.

Phil Hoskins Defensive Lineman
Hoskins comes to St. Louis for his first stint in spring football since coming out of Kentucky as a 7th round pick in 2021. A veteran of 13 NFL games, Hoskins has totaled 14 tackles and 1 sack bouncing around the league with the Panthers, Chiefs, Cardinals, and most recently a practice squad appearance with the Dallas Cowboys. Hoskins like several of his Battlehawk teammates has also won a Super Bowl ring as a member of the Chiefs practice squad during the post season.
Cole Spencer Offensive Lineman
Another new face for the Battlehawks, Cole Spencer comes to St. Louis after bouncing on and off the Tennessee Titans practice squad. A 2024 UDFA, Spencer started 49 games at Western Kentucky and Texas Tech, earning All-Conference honors in 2020, and 2021. A versatile Lineman, Spencer transitioned from Tackle to Guard later in his career.

2023 Battlehawk Lacale London signed a futures deal with the Atlanta Falcons per Aaron Wilson. London saw a diminished role in 2024, after appearing in 7 games during the 2023 season. London spent all of the 2024 season with the Falcons on their practice squade.
With the Battlehawks roster coming to together, fans can begin looking forward to training camp and ultimately the 2025 season for the UFL. The Battlehawks are set to take on the Houston Roughnecks in Week One on March 28th to begin the UFL’s 2nd season. Last year St. Louis owned a record of 7-3 losing to the San Antonio Brahmas in the XFL Conference Championship game.
