New Face in a New Place

The most intriguing transaction this week was the signing of Wayne Gallman. Gallman has been out of football since the end of the 2022 season when his practice squad contract with the Seahawks expired. Originally, Gallman was a 4th Round Pick out of Clemson to the Giants spending 2017 to 2020 with the team. From 2021 to 2022 Gallman spent time with Five NFL teams totaling over 1500 rushing yards and 9 rushing touchdowns in his NFL career. He will compete with Mataeo Durant and Kevon Latulas (rookie) for the starting role in St. Louis.

Currently the St. Louis roster sits at 70 players as the UFL is set to have a hard date of February 14th for the confirmation of their 75 players going into training camp. With only Two Quarterbacks on the roster, the Battlehawks are poised to add a 3rd signal caller with the possibility of additional Defensive Lineman as well. The UFL is slated to kick off on March 30th with a schedule still pending.
