After the Battlehawks loss to the Michigan Panthers during Week One. St. Louis opted to release to 2nd-year Battlehawk Elorm Lumor in favor of bringing back dispersal draft pick and Super Bowl Champion Chris Garrett.

Lumor Spent the last Two seasons with the Battlehawks, joining the team in November of 2022 via the XFL draft. Lumor totaled 19 tackles and 4.0 sacks during 10 games (9 in 2023, 1 in 2024), only to be released after playing in 9 snaps during week One. Replacing Lumor is Chris Garrett who spent training camp with the team after being selected in the UFL’s Dispersal Draft. Garrett was placed on team’s inactive roster upon his signing.

With this recent transaction, the Battlehawks currently look to be prioritizing their pass rush which only mustered One Sack against the Michigan Panthers and the elusive E.J. Perry. The Battlehawks are set to take on the Arlington Renegades this Saturday April 6th in St. Louis looking to earn their first win.
