The Birmingham Stallions announced today their exciting initiative to involve the local community in their upcoming 2024 season. Elementary students in the Birmingham area are called upon to design a unique poster, celebrating the Stallions’ first home game on April 13 at Protective Stadium.
This contest is open to students from 1st through 5th grade, aiming to foster local talent and school spirit. Submissions are welcomed from March 18th and must be received by April 5th. The Stallions emphasize creativity, requesting each design to be hand-drawn, incorporating a football theme, the Stallions logo, and the phrase “Spring 2024.”
“The heart of this competition is to engage with our community and inspire the next generation of Stallions fans,” the press release stated, highlighting the importance of community involvement. The selected winner will not only see their artwork as the official 2024 Stallions poster but will also enjoy a memorable experience including club tickets and a meet-and-greet with the team.
Additionally, every child who submits a design will receive a Buy-One-Get-One free ticket offer, ensuring that all participants can enjoy the excitement of game day. “This is a fantastic opportunity for young fans to showcase their creativity and connect with their favorite team,” expressed Ansley Diamond, a key organizer of the event.
For the poster to be displayed, it must be delivered to 600 Luckie Drive, Suite 100, Birmingham, AL 35223 by April 5th. Submissions can be uploaded to bit.ly/StallionsPosters. For questions regarding the poster competition, please contact Ansley Diamond at [email protected].
This is a great way to engage the fans of Birmingham. We have been hearing from sources that their tickets sales have been good and the top team from the USFL. We hope to see more of this type of community engagement from other cities in the UFL.
