The UFL’s leading rusher from the 2025 season finds his way back to the NFL after his release by the Falcons during training camp. After suffering injuries to their running back the Patriots signed Jashaun Corbin to their practice squad returning him to the NFL.

Corbin was one of the bright spots during the 2025 Brahmas season that ended with a 1-9 record. The former Florida State running back joined San Antonio in October of 2024 after being waived with an injury settlement in August by the New York Giants. Corbin quickly established himself as the premiere back in San Antonio taking advantage of an injured Anthony McFarland and John Lovett. Corbin is set to earn $169,000 (per spotrac) if he stays with New England throughout the 2025 season. Corbin earned the contract after beating out former D.C. Defender Deon Jackson who was among three running backs to work out for New England.

Other UFL notes:

The 49ers worked out former Stallion Jonathan Garvin and former Renegade Bruce Hector on Tuesday.

The Colts worked out a plethora of kickers including Ramiz Ahmed (Stallions/Maulers), Harrison Mevis (Stallions), Matt Ammendola (Brahmas camp body), Lucas Havrisik (Renegades), and Matthew Wright (Tampa Bay Vipers camp body).

Keenan Isaac (Roughnecks) also worked out for the Saints.

The Saints released Garrett Nelson (Brahmas) who earned $65,000 (per spotrac) on their practice squad, and the Chargers released Michael Dunn (AAF Iron/Seattle Dragon) from their practice after earning $17,500 (per spotrac).

Memphis Showboats Quarterback E.J. Perry (who is now a free agent), signed with the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL yesterday (October 7th).
