**The Buffalo Bills announced on Friday the signing of cornerback [DJ Miller Jr](https://uflnewshub.com/player/dj-miller-jr-33184) to a one-year deal. Miller Jr. played in the UFL with the Michigan Panthers in 2025 and with the [Columbus Aviators](https://uflnewshub.com/ufl/ufl-players-earn-30-nfl-contracts-training-camp-full-swing) in 2026.**

### **DJ Miller JR (5’10, 185 lbs) - Kent State**

**DJ Miller Jr played this past season for the Columbus Aviators, where he played in 10 games with 9 starts. He recorded 24 total tackles over the 2026 campaign and hauled in 3 interceptions, including a pick-six.**

**Miller Jr. had a tremendous season in coverage with Columbus facing, by my count, 30 targets and allowing only 13 receptions for 125 yards and 3 touchdowns (not counting screen passes) while generating 3 interceptions and 5 breakups. The passer rating on his targets faced was just 49.3.**

**For the second straight year, he is heading to the NFL following a UFL season. He played in 2 preseason games for the [Detroit Lions](https://uflnewshub.com/ufl/former-st-louis-battlehawk-db-nick-whiteside-internal-option-detroit-lions-terrion-arnolds-legal-battle) last year, where he recorded 10 total tackles and defended 2 passes.**

**Prior to suiting up for Detroit, Miller Jr played in Ford Field for the Michigan Panthers in 2025, where he recorded 29 total tackles and 2 interceptions over 10 regular-season games before adding 9 tackles in the 2 postseason games. For how I track coverage, he faced the most targets over the 2025 season, allowing 35 receptions on 62 targets faced for 489 yards while generating 7 passes defended and 2 interceptions, a 90.5 passer rating.**

**He played his collegiate ball with Iowa State from 2019 to 2021 before playing for Kent State in 2022 and 2023.**

**Miller Jr signed as an undrafted free agent with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he played in 3 preseason games in 2024, recording 10 total tackles.**
