The Arlington Renegades and Birmingham Stallions made roster additions this week, strengthening their lines with experienced players ahead of the UFL's March 28 season opener.

Arlington signed defensive end [Durrell Johnson](https://uflnewshub.com/player/durrell-johnson-33214), who posted notable numbers at Liberty University from 2020-2022. Johnson's college stats showcase his impact: 114 total tackles, 40.5 tackles for loss, 14.5 sacks, and 4 forced turnovers. The Dallas Cowboys signed Johnson as an undrafted free agent in 2022 before he was waived with an injury designation.

The [Birmingham Stallions](https://uflnewshub.com/team/birmingham-stallions) brought back offensive tackle [Christian DiLauro](https://uflnewshub.com/player/christian-dilauro-1363), who returns after helping the team win the championship in 2024. DiLauro, an Illinois product, brings substantial NFL practice squad experience from eight teams - the Cleveland Browns, San Francisco 49ers, Houston Texans, Pittsburgh Steelers, Tennessee Titans, Washington Commanders, Denver Broncos, and Minnesota Vikings.

The [UFL](https://uflnewshub.com/ufl) enters its second season following the merger of the XFL and USFL.
