He was named All-UFL following the**[**2026 season**](https://uflnewshub.com/ufl/ufl-sees-slight-uptick-viewership-fox-friday-nights-2026-season)**. Monday was the first day NFL teams were able to sign UFL players.**

### **LB Tony Fields II - West Virginia (6’0, 222 lbs)**

**Tony Fields played in all 10 games for the Columbus Aviators this past season, with 9 starts, and recorded 39 solo tackles, 37 assisted tackles, 5 tackles for loss, and a sack. His 77 total tackles were the 2nd most in the UFL this past season.**

**For how I track stops, Fields was among the most productive among all**[**defensive player**](https://uflnewshub.com/ufl/louisville-kings-edge-cam-gill-named-2026-ufl-defensive-player-year)**s with 35 total stops (8 solo run stops, 17 assisted run stops, 3 solo pass stops, and 7 assisted pass stops). In coverage, he faced 25 targets which resulted in 20 receptions for 254 yards and a touchdown (by my tracking, not counting screen plays).**

**Fields was a 5th-round draft pick out of West Virginia in 2021 by the Cleveland Browns. He played in 45 games with 10 starts for Cleveland from the 2021 through 2024 seasons, with 1 game in 2024 which was shortened by injury. He recorded 48 solo tackles, 40 assisted tackles, and an interception with the Browns.**

**Fields was waived by Cleveland in October of 2024 and quickly picked up by the LA Rams, where he spent the 2025 preseason before being released in final cuts.**
