Spring Football has seen a lot of super fans over the past few years especially since the return of the USFL planted the seeds to grow into the UFL this past season. Between the Beer Snake, Ballhawk1, the Horseman, the Battlenecks, and the Yacht Club, the UFL has inspired fans from all across the nation to “buy-in” for the league, but the question that many supporters of the league asking is what’s the next level for the league in the off-season.

One young man who’s taken the initiative on himself is one of the Battlehawks Gameday Ops personnel Jack Bishop. Jack is a St. Louis Native attending Fort Zumwalt South, before attending Central Methodist University to play football. After several injuries forced him to “retire”, Jack’s journey wasn’t complete as the now Mizzou student continued to work in football coaching at the Middle School, and Varsity Football level. It wasn’t until the return of the XFL in 2023, where Jack’s mission to grow the Battlehawks brand went into full-swing.

Jack worked with the Battlehawks in Football Ops, assisting in gameday experience, while also everything in between. As the Battlehawks proved to be the XFL’s premiere franchise, Jack’s relationships with the players and coaches also grew especially with Darrius Shepherd’s a Missouri native whose been with the Battlehawks for the past two years. Jack was instrumental in helping Shepherd grow his personal brand appearing all over the St. Louis Media circuit with appearances on ESPN, KMOV, and even appearing on billboards throughout the city.

After working once again with the Battlehawks Gameday Ops team in 2024, Jack’s determination to continuing growing the Battlehawks brand went into another level. Jack organized a youth camp with Darrius Shepherd, Travis Feeney, and Jake Sutherland in the St. Louis area! In addition to Jack’s work with the STL Pros Kids camp, Jack has worked with Shepherd on the KC Made Football camp that took place this past Saturday July 13th.

Jack’s mission however, is far from complete. With future fan-engagement events planned for August, and several more throughout the year. While many have wished for the UFL to do more to promote the game and their local teams throughout the whole season it appears that the league has found an ally in a young man whose willing to put in the work to make it happen!
