The Michigan Panthers have signed linebacker London Harris as well as defensive end Jesus Gibbs on Thursday. This news follows the recent injury to starting middle linebacker Frank Ginda who is potentially done for the season following an injury sustained during the victory over the Arlington Renegades.

Harris posted 81 tackles & 2 sacks during as a senior at Texas State.

LB London Harris – Texas State (6’1, 231 lbs)
London Harris played in 57 games for Texas State from 2018 to 2022. He made 66 solo tackles, 94 assisted tackles, 9 tackles for a loss, and 4.5 sacks over his career. In his final season, he had 81 total tackles, 3 TFLs, 2 sacks, 2 passes defended, and 2 forced fumbles over 12 games with 11 starts. He played middle linebacker in his final season.
On his pro day in 2023, he ran a 4.63-second 40-yard dash, a 4.5-second shuttle drill, and a 7.52-second 3-cone drill. He also performed 25 reps on the bench press (225 lbs), a 38-inch vertical, and a 10’02” broad jump.
Harris went undrafted in the 2023 NFL draft although he attended a couple of NFL rookie minicamps.
DE Jesus Gibbs – Towson
Jesus Gibbs played in 35 games with 24 starts with Towson from 2019 to 2023. He recorded 56 solo tackles, 53 assisted tackles, 25.5 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, and 3 forced fumbles over his career. In his final season, he made 40 total tackles, 12.5 TFLs, 6 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles.
Gibbs was Second Team All-CAA in 2022 and 2023.
On his pro day this past March, Gibbs ran a 5.01 40-yard dash, 4.51-second shuttle, and 7.46-second 3-cone drill. He also performed a 34-inch vertical, and a 9’6” broad jump.
Gibbs recently attended a rookie minicamp with the Kansas City Chiefs after going undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft.
