Per the UFL Communications Department announcement on Monday, the Michigan Panthers have signed wide receiver Dezmon Patmon.
WR Dezmon Patmon – Washington State (25 y/o, 6’4, 225 lbs)
Dezmon Patmon played for Washington State from 2016 to 2019 where he played 41 games with 10 starts. He recorded 156 receptions for 1,976 yards and 13 touchdowns at Washington State. He led the team in receiving yards in 2018 catching 61 passes for 816 yards and 5 touchdowns. In his final season in 2019, he had 58 receptions for 762 yards and 8 touchdowns.
Patmon was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the 2020 NFL Draft in the 6th round (212th overall). From 2020 to 2022 he played in 10 games for the Colts recording 4 catches for 45 yards and a touchdown. He spent most of the 2022 season on the Colts practice squad.
Patmon signed with the Bills practice squad in January of 2023 and shortly after signed a reserve/future contract with the Bills. He was waived just ahead of the final roster cut date of the 2023 season from the Bills. He signed with the Carolina Panthers’ practice squad on September 5 2023 and was waived on September 12.
Patmon’s uncle, DeWayne Patmon, played linebacker for Michigan prior to playing for the New York Giants in 2000-01.
