UFL Power Rankings Week 9

UFL News Hub Week 10 Picks

MICHIGAN PANTHERS (7-2) VS BIRMINGHAM STALLIONS (8-1)

Saturday, June 1 | 2:00 PM ET | Birmingham, AL | Protective Stadium | ESPN | ESPN Xtra on SiriusXM

These two teams met in week 2 when Birmingham beat Michigan 20-13 in a game that came down to the final minute. Regardless of the outcome of this match, these teams will meet again the following week in the USFL Division Championship in Birmingham.

The Michigan Panthers have a question mark at quarterback this week with E.J. Perry and Danny Etling returning to health following recent strong play from Bryce Perkins. The Panthers are on a 5 game-win streak.

The Birmingham Stallions will look to bounce back after taking their first loss of the season last week which ended a 15-game winning streak.

Writer’s Pick: 71% Birmingham

SAN ANTONIO BRAHMAS (7-2) VS ST. LOUIS BATTLEHAWKS (6-3)

Saturday, June 1 | 4:00 PM ET | St. Louis, MO | The Dome at America’s Center | FOX | FOX Sports on SiriusXM

This is a crucial game with the top seed of the XFL Division being on the line. These teams will meet again in the playoffs but it is yet to be decided where they will play and it will be decided Saturday in St. Louis.

San Antonio is on a 3-game win streak which saw them recently defeat the Birmingham Stallions. The St. Louis Battlehawks lost last week on the road against the Arlington Renegades. While San Antonio currently has the higher record, St. Louis will have the head-to-head tiebreaker if they win as they previously defeated the Brahmas in week 3 by a score of 31-24.

Writer’s Pick: 57% San Antonio

ARLINGTON RENEGADES (2-7) VS D.C. DEFENDERS (4-5)

Sunday, June 2 | 12:00 PM ET | Washington, D.C. | Audi Field | ABC | ESPN Xtra on SiriusXM

These 2 teams have been eliminated for some time but there are a lot of bragging rights on the line in what is a rematch of the 2023 XFL Championship. While this game is meaningless from a playoff implications outlook it is very meaningful from a whose fan base gets to brag all offseason.

The last time these teams met saw DC win a close match in Arlington 29-28. Arlington has won 2 of their last 3 games. DC has lost 4 of their last 6 games.

Writer’s Pick: 57% Arlington

HOUSTON ROUGHNECKS (1-8) VS MEMPHIS SHOWBOATS (1-8)

Sunday, June 2 | 7:00 PM ET | Memphis, TN | Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium | FOX | FOX Sports on SiriusXM

This match will decide who earns the first pick in the UFL Draft. To encourage good competition and meaningful football the UFL is going to award the winning team in this match the first pick in the UFL Draft. These teams last met in week 1 which saw Memphis win their only game so far this season by a score of 18-12.

The Showboats are on an 8 game losing streak. The Roughnecks are on a 5 game losing streak although their last 3 games were all lost by 1 score to top teams in the league.

Writer’s Pick: 57% Memphis
