UFL Power Rankings Week 4: A New Hope For Houston

UFL News Hub Week 5 Picks

SAN ANTONIO BRAHMAS VS ARLINGTON RENEGADES

Saturday, April 27 | 7:00 PM ET | Arlington, TX | Choctaw Stadium | FOX* | FOX Sports on SiriusXM

The San Antonio Brahmas head to Arlington to take on the winless Arlington Renegades. Quarterback Quinten Dormady played well in his first start for the Brahmas. Arlington’s quarterback Luis Perez will be up against a pass rush that just racked up 6 sacks in the previous week against Michigan.

Writer’s Pick: 87.5% San Antonio

BIRMINGHAM STALLIONS VS HOUSTON ROUGHNECKS

Saturday, April 27 | 7:00 PM ET | Houston, TX | Rice Stadium | FOX* | FOX Sports on SiriusXM

The Houston Roughnecks are coming off of their first win of the season but they will have a difficult task if they want to add another game to the win column. They will face the undefeated Birmingham Stallions on the road who overcame adversity to defeat DC the week prior. Birmingham may be extra focused as they made some crucial mistakes the week prior that led to turnovers.

Writer’s Pick: 87.5% Birmingham

ST. LOUIS BATTLEHAWKS VS D.C. DEFENDERS

Sunday, April 28 | 12:00 PM ET | Washington, D.C. | Audi Field | ESPN | ESPN Xtra on SiriusXM

St. Louis is coming off of a convincing win at home against the Memphis Showboats while the DC Defenders lost a close game on the road to Birmingham last week. The DC Defenders have never lost at their home field having won all 10 games since the XFL’s 2020 season. Despite the 10-game win streak, it is anyone’s game as St. Louis is red hot and looking to extend their win streak to 4 games.

Writer’s Pick: 87.5% St. Louis

MICHIGAN PANTHERS VS MEMPHIS SHOWBOATS

Sunday, April 28 | 3:00 PM ET | Memphis, TN | Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium | FOX | FOX Sports on SiriusXM

Both teams are coming off losses as they enter this crucial divisional matchup. Michigan also likely lost their quarterback E.J. Perry due to an apparent leg injury and Danny Etling is expected to get the start who looked good coming in for relief. Memphis has also had major concerns in pass protection and last week we saw Case Cookus leave the game late after taking a heavy hit in the Showboats’ loss to St. Louis. Memphis is on a 3 game losing streak but a win will put them right back into the playoff conversation.

Writer’s Pick: 87.5% Michigan
