If you’ve been watching spring football you should be familiar with former Brahmas/Roughnecks Quarterback Reid Sinnett, what you may not be familiar with is he’s currently one of the best players during the 2025 ELF season with the Madrid Bravos. Despite the Bravos 4-3 record Sinnett has totaled 2,459 yards along with 30 TDs to just 3 Ints Seven games into his first season in Europe.

Sinnett’s journey to Europe has been nothing but linear. After only starting one year in at FCS University of San Diego of the pioneer league, Sinnett would have NFL stints with the Bucs, Dolphins, and Eagles before joining the Brahmas of the XFL in 2023. Sinnett would earn an NFL opportunity with the spending several weeks with the team during the regular season, before being released in October of 2023. Sinnett would return to the Brahmas post-merger only to have his rights transferred to the Houston Roughnecks, where he started 5 games for the team.

While Sinnett’s time in spring football wasn’t by any means dynamic or dominating, he’s always been a consummate professional totaling 1,233 passing yards 6 TDs to 5 Ints. Since joining the ELF’s Madrid Bravos, Sinnett has been possibly the league’s most dynamic passer since its inception in 2021. Sinnett’s 30 TDs are currently on pace to surpass Jadrian Clark’s 53 (most in ELF history), and at 2459 should surpass Clark in passing yards as well (3586).

While records are certainly important, Sinnett has been growing the ELF through his social media platforms as well. His YouTube page recently posted a video about a day in the life, which amassed over 84,000 views exposing NFL fans to football in Europe. Sinnett has been an ambassador bringing attention to the league from a former NFL QB’s perspective.

With more talent available the ELF is doing its part to expand the game of football, while also providing an opportunity for players to continue playing at a higher-level post college. Players like Sinnett give credence to the league by utilizing their platforms to showcase their skills and also grow their brands as well. With the ELF enroute to completing their 5th season, Sinnett should be able to make an impact in Europe for this year and beyond.

Even when AJ McCarron was with St. Louis I felt he would be the perfect backup. And after McCarron was let go I felt bringing him would be a no-brainer. I knew Sinnett would be excellent in this league. (See Madre London pre USFL), but I can’t say I saw 30 Tds and 3 Int. The ELF is too uneven to be compared with the UFL, however Sinnett has always thrown a very catchable ball and his completion % would be ridiculous with the Battlehawks. All you needed was someone to distribute the ball. How come I can see that, but Anthony Becht could not? I could clearly see him throwing for over 2,000 yards this past season with 17 TDs, 8 picks and 65% completion percentage and most throws being to a wideout. Those numbers were conservative. Thanks for the update on Sinnett. I feel he got the short stick in the UFL.

I feel as if he didn’t really get his shot as well.

Glad to see he’s doing great in the ELF.

Tbh his only issue is that he sometimes holds onto the ball for too long but otherwise he’s doing great and improving over time being able to distribute the ball to everyone in the field. His connection with Aron Cruikshank is the best in the ELF (both are the clearest candidates for MVP) so if a team gives him time to adjust he might be a beast for any spring football team.
