The Arlington Renegades of the United Football League (UFL) are gearing up for an exciting season ahead with the recent signings of two talented athletes, Tenny Adewusi and Darrius Moragne. Both players bring a wealth of experience and skill to the Renegades’ roster, promising to bolster the team’s defensive capabilities and contribute to their quest for success on the field.

Tenny Adewusi: A Defensive Back with Versatility

Tenny Adewusi, hailing from Delaware, is a seasoned defensive back known for his exceptional size, length, and versatility. Throughout his collegiate career, Adewusi showcased his defensive prowess, significantly contributing to the University of Delaware’s football program.

During the 2017 season, Adewusi played a vital role in the Blue Hens’ secondary, demonstrating his ability to cover ground effectively. Despite playing in just the first six games of the season, Adewusi managed to tally 11 tackles, including eight solo tackles. His standout performance against Cornell, where he recorded four tackles, exemplified his impact on the field. Additionally, Adewusi showcased his defensive capabilities with two pass breakups, showcasing his ability to disrupt opposing offenses.

Adewusi’s contributions were not limited to the 2017 season alone. In 2016, he continued to be a key asset in the UD secondary, recording 16 tackles, breaking up two passes, and intercepting two passes over 11 games. His versatility was further highlighted by his role as a key special teams player, demonstrating his willingness to contribute to various facets of the game.

Furthermore, Adewusi’s journey to collegiate football success is a testament to his dedication and talent. A standout player at Colonia High School, Adewusi led his team to multiple victories and received numerous accolades for his performances on the field. His ability to excel both academically, majoring in marketing at Delaware, and athletically underscores his commitment to success both on and off the field.

Darrius Moragne: Dominance on the Defensive Line

Joining Adewusi in bolstering the Renegades’ defense is Darrius Moragne, a formidable defensive tackle from the University of Kansas. Moragne’s impact on the field is characterized by his strength, agility, and disruptive presence along the defensive line.

During his senior year at Kansas in 2019, Moragne started all 12 games for the Jayhawks, showcasing his durability and reliability as a defensive stalwart. His stat line for the season, including 39 total tackles, 4.5 tackles-for-loss, and 2.5 sacks, reflects his ability to make plays behind the line of scrimmage and apply pressure on opposing quarterbacks.

Moragne’s versatility was evident as he seamlessly transitioned between defensive end and tackle, demonstrating his adaptability to various defensive schemes and formations. Whether rushing the passer or clogging running lanes, Moragne consistently made his presence felt on the field, earning the respect of teammates and opponents.

Beyond his on-field accomplishments, Moragne’s journey to collegiate football success is a testament to his perseverance and determination. Despite facing challenges and adversity along the way, Moragne remained steadfast in his pursuit of excellence, ultimately impacting the Kansas football program.
