Most notably, Hayes was the offensive coordinator for the Arlington Renegades in the XFL, helping the team to win the 2023 XFL Championship. This achievement marks a significant highlight in his coaching career. Prior to this, he served as the head coach and general manager of the St. Louis Battlehawks.

Background and Experience

Before his time in the XFL, Hayes had a long tenure as the Bengals’ tight ends coach from 2003 to 2018. His coaching journey also includes a successful stint at the University of Oklahoma, where he was part of the 2000 national championship team.
