San Antonio Brahmas added quarterback Kellen Mond to their roster for the 2025 UFL season. Mond, who grew up in San Antonio, returns to his hometown after stints with multiple NFL teams.
Mond’s college career at Texas A&M produced notable statistics:
- 9,661 passing yards
- 71 passing touchdowns
- 27 interceptions
- 1,609 rushing yards
- 22 rushing touchdowns
The quarterback joins an elite SEC group with Tim Tebow and Dak Prescott as the only quarterbacks to surpass 9,000 passing yards and 1,500 rushing yards. During his final season in 2020, Mond led Texas A&M to a 9-1 record and No. 4 AP ranking.
His NFL journey included:
- 2021: Minnesota Vikings (3rd round draft pick)
- 2022: Cleveland Browns
- 2023: Indianapolis Colts practice squad
- 2024: New Orleans Saints
At Reagan High School, Mond posted:
- 1,991 passing yards
- 26 passing touchdowns
- 898 rushing yards
- 7 rushing touchdowns
After transferring to IMG Academy for his senior year, he recorded:
- 1,936 passing yards
- 20 passing touchdowns
- 775 rushing yards
- 18 rushing touchdowns
