Since the end of the 2024 season, the San Antonio Brahmas roster has undergone many changes. Most of the Brahmas playmakers at wide receiver, including Jontre Kirklin and Marquez Stevenson, will be returning to the Brahmas offense during the 2025 UFL. In addition to the wide receiver position, the Brahmas will be returning several offensive linemen, including recently re-signed offensive tackle Greg Eiland.

In contrast to the stability of the Brahmas offensive line and wide receiver units, the Brahmas running back position is in great need of additional depth. The Brahmas have only two running backs on their 2025 roster, including returning running back John Lovett and new Jashaun Corbin. The Brahmas latest signing helps address the depth needs of the running back position as a UFL press release announces that the Brahmas have signed running back Hassan Hall.

Hassan Hall comes to the Brahmas after spending the 2023 and 2024 NFL seasons with various teams. In 2023, the Cleveland Browns signed Hall as an undrafted free agent, but Hall did not stick with the Browns and found himself on the practice squads for the Arizona Cardinals and the New York Giants in 2023 as well. In 2024, Hall spent time on the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad and also returned to the Arizona Cardinals practice squad.

Hall is a 5’10”, 196-pound running back from Atlanta, Georgia, and the San Antonio Brahmas is his next destination. He attempts to demonstrate that he has what it takes to contribute to professional football. During the 2024 UFL season, the Brahmas offense averaged 4.0 yards/carry for the season, and with the Brahmas offensive line looking strong, San Antonio’s running backs could be in a position to have a big season. Hall must come to training camp ready to earn a spot as a running back on the Brahmas 2025 roster.

Prior to signing with the Cleveland Browns, Hall played college football at Georgia Tech during the 2022 season. During his time with the Yellow Jackets, Hall played in 12 games, carrying the ball 116 times for 521 yards and scoring a rushing touchdown. Hall also added 28 receptions for 165 yards while playing for Georgia Tech.

Hall transferred to Georgia Tech after playing four seasons at the University of Louisville from 2018 until 2021. While playing for the Cardinals, Hall played in 42 games. He carried the ball 270 times for 1,299 yards and scored 11 rushing touchdowns. He also caught the ball 22 times for 175 yards while playing in Louisville.
