The Battlehawks continue to bring in accolades during Anthony Becht’s tenure as Head Coach. After a historic season in which Coach Becht earned his 20th career win, the franchise set a new high for wins in a season (8), and the franchise earned its 25th win All-Time, the Battlehawks continue their success going into the playoffs with 7 players being selected to the All-UFL team in 2025.

Offense:

Jacob Saylors (Running Back), Steven Gonzalez (Guard) and Mike Panasiuk (Center) all earn Offensive honors for the UFL in 2025. All players have earned the honor multiple times with Panasiuk earning the Honor for the third consecutive year going back to the 2023 XFL season. Gonzalez earns his second All-League honor after earning an All-XFL honor in 2023 with Panasiuk and Jaryd Jones-Smith on the Offensive Line. Saylors earns his second All-UFL selection after placing second in the UFL in rushing for the second consecutive season. Saylors recorded 744 All-Purpose Yards (499 Rushing, 245 Receiving) along with 5 Touchdowns. All three were major pieces in the Battlehawks successful rushing attack that was first in the league.

Defense:

Pita Taumoepenu and Willie Harvey like their offensive counterparts all receive their second All-League honors as well. Taumoepenu returns to “All-League” status after a “slow” 2024. The former XFL DPOTY led the UFL in sacks with 7.5 Sacks and Forced Fumblers with 3. Taumoepenu also finished the season with 24 tackles enroute to his 2nd All-League season, and a candidate for the Defensive Player of the Year this UFL season. Willie Harvey also earns his 2nd All-League honor, going back-to-back like Saylors, and Panasiuk. Harvey recorded 59 tackles, 3 TFLs, 0.5 Sack, along with an interception return for a touchdown.

Special Teams:

The Battlehawks also saw their first special teams All-UFL player since the merger. Kicker Rodrigo Blankenship and Long Snapper Alex Matheson both earned All-League honors in 2025, in hopes of transitioning to the NFL. Blankenship set a new Battlehawks record, converting on 21/22 FGs with a long of 56. Matheson earns his first post-season honors since joining the team in 2023. The Cal-Lutheran alum looks to return to the NFL after spending a week with the LA Rams in 2023 on their practice squad.

Since Head Coach Anthony Becht was hired in 2023, the Battlehawks have seen 18 All-UFL selections with 7 in 2025 being the most in his tenure. The Battlehawks have also seen 24 NFL contracts earned over two seasons by their players with more certainly in line to join the NFL ranks after the Battlehawks season. St. Louis is now set to take on the Defenders at home this Sunday on June 8th in hopes of bringing a championship to the UFL’s most passionate fanbase.
