The UFL got off to a hot start this signing cycle with 10 players signing NFL deals 6 days after the season ended. The UFL announced Jayden Price has been released by the Arlington Renegades and is signing with an NFL team. Price is 10th UFL player to sign this signing cycle as the league looks to surpass the 75 players they saw earn NFL contracts last year.

As mentioned above Jayden Price, now joins Tight End’s Sal Cannella, and Seth Green on an NFL roster. Price is signing with the Saints joining Barry Wesley, and Seth Green. Price worked out for New Orleans on June 10th.

Geor’Quarius Spivey had a successful workout with the Kansas City Chiefs who signed him on June 19th. Spivey was a Roughnecks Draft Pick from the 2024 UFL College Draft and spent 2024 with the Chiefs during training camp. Also having a successful workout was Damon Arnette who is “staying” in Houston with the Texans. The 2020 1st round pick completes his first step in his return to NFL after solid performance in the UFL.

The Panthers saw their first workout with All-UFL TE Gunnar Oakes working out for the Broncos. Oakes worked out for the Texans last year but has not been signed since coming out of EMU in 2023. Oakes was the Panthers 7th round draft pick in 2023 during the USFL College Draft. Oakes has been with the Panthers the last Two years.
