Data has shown for years that humans are horrible about predicting events. So we decided to have some fun and make our own United Football League predictions for 2025.

The UFL is heading into it second season after merging the XFL and USFL. We have a slight better idea of players in 2025, but these are still human predictions and the league is still new.

Here are some of what our writers and editor think for UFL 2025.

    I love it!
Great predictions, except the Showboats one and I saw you questioned that yourselves! Hey, they could impress, but they better get on the clock starting now.

    How about these?

AJ McCarron feels slighted by the UFL, seeks revenge, signs with the IFA Alabama Beavers, is given a higher salary than the UFL players and wins the IFA Championship with former USFL players Randy Satterfield, Bryson Young, Isiah Hennie, Ezra Gray and Trey Williams, who also has revenge on his mind. The team sells out every game and he interviews that the league is more professional than the UFL, even though its not.

I actually hope AJ realizes he is a blessed human being, apologizes to the UFL.
After a good conversation determines he still wants to play in the UFL. Finds a home in the league, helps increase attendance by up to 5K patrons a game and has his team in the playoff hunt all season. Finds that not only is his football knowledge, great, but realizes he meant to be outspoken to help make the league a better place, but realized he was divisive and believes in his heart he understands he did this, but didn’t mean to. That if he signs with the league and if he beats the Battlehawks, he gains maturity in his heart and understands that it’s ok to want to change things, it’s ok to be hurt, but bad to strike back when he mistakenly crossed a line and never apologized for it. I hope he understands and believes this as he is good for the league and the league is good for him. My guess is he is already rich financially. This will help make him rich spiritually.

I still have to feel that wisdom will win out and the New Jersey Generals will be one of the new teams. If they really feel New Jersey is not the place they need to call me, because I strongly believe they would be sorely mistaken to the point that, I always say they know more than I do, but on this I feel they would need to call me and explain it to me, because whatever the issue would be I feel I can make it work. The opportunity is too good for it not to be. If the league did not fully follow this up, I would question them that if they found their loved one, their right person, the person who makes them happy physically and spiritually, where everything is right. At that they do not ask for their hand because it might be too good and you are afraid of that, because mediocrity leaves less pain in case she said no. I believe in the league and that it will happen.

The Battlehawks QB room is not done. Denzel Mims, Andy Isabella, Max Duggan and Anthony Becht all have unbelievable talent and ability. However, at this time, none of them have the experience to bring the room together. I still feel MBT will be signed if MBT wants the job and if they can face facts. John Wohlford and Jordan Ta’amu remain options or someone else qualified for the job. Again it just makes sense. St. Louis is too big a market to risk further uncertainty. Why go through all this, building a solid team, having an atmosphere worthy of upgrading the stadium and risk all that on an unproven situation. I think this is already in Anthony Becht’s mind, but I have said this before. It is football to him. He may be newer to coaching, but he is about football and he wants the challenge. I don’t know that the league is ready to take a step back in St. Louis and I strongly feel this will be a step back at least offensively, even if maybe it’s only for a short period of time.

I feel the 2025 Championship game will not be in Seattle. Seattle has not earned the opportunity and it is way out of the way for the rest of the country to come to game. At this point it really needs to be in Birmingham. It just makes sense if the stadium works. If not I would pick a spot most of the UFL fan base can drive to. I know I would go to Canton as I did in 2022, I would not go to Seattle.

I would love to learn one of the teams before the season started. As I am always about preparation it would be great to have this confirmed and if it’s Seattle I can accept that. The country needs to be filled out.

As long as the league continues to follow the steps as it has, relying on good coaching, a reasonable cost structure, using professional TV the league will continue to gain in popularity. With properly placed teams expansion teams 2026 will bring about at least one game with at least 2 million viewers. IF this happens attendance will reach over 15,000 per game presuming the league seating costs do not show large increases.

Still like the Panthers as being one of the stronger teams. They could really lock that up by bringing back Breeland Speaks and a healthy Marcus Simms. Hopefully he is healthy.

Former NFL players that rock are: Kyle Phillips, Greg Ward, Amari Rodgers, Cyril Grayson, Denzel Mims, Montae Nicholson, Quincy Roche and Kemoko Turay.

One thing that I predict starting late March is that we will enjoy seeing our teams play hard and play competitive football. Happy New Year everyone!
