This is to Dominique Jones. If you are the former NFL Tight End that is really 37 feel free to try with the UFL. Although there is some signed TEs in the league there is not a great amount of experience in the group so they may bring you to camp. From there anything can happen. That stated at 37 and not having played since 2016 this could still be a bit of long shot, but worth it. If another Dominique Jones surely try the UFL, but also try the International Football Alliance. The UFL pays better and is on network TV so the better bet, but if you don’t make it there, the IFA will start May 31st and are doing tryouts on an ongoing basis. You can sign up through their website if you want to go down this avenue.

And to follow up the Tight Ends in the UFL, they all too often either wiff on their blocks completely or get called for holding as they try to hold the blocks too long. It seemed Kaden Smith seemed to block the best in Fred Kaiss’ running scheme. Ryan Izzo also did some decent blocking in the USFL Stars short running situation, so maybe NFL Tight Ends are prepared better. Maybe that is something UFL will have to address in training camps this year, but somehow I bet Darryl Johnston is on it. Btw, cornerbacks, you need to fight through blocks better if you want to get to the NFL. If I am seeing it, so are NFL scouts. Nate Brooks did it and he is in the NFL, now.
