We are now down the home stretch of the 2024 UFL season. After week 7, we now have a cleaner picture of the UFL playoffs. Who is in the hunt and who is out.
The top two teams from each conference qualifies for the UFL playoffs.
XFL Conference Playoff Picture
In the XFL Conference, the St. Louis Battlehawks with a loss against the Stallions and San Antonio Brahmas with a last second win over the Roughnecks are now tied for first with a 5-2 record. Both teams appear to be in a strong position to claim at least a playoff berth.
The DC Defenders are now 3-4 after their lost to the Michigan Panthers but still alive. Despite the Arlington Renegades first win of the season, at 1-6, they are eliminated from playoff contention.
Even if Arlington won out and finished 4-6, the worst the Battlehawks, and Brahmas could be is 5-5.
The Defenders take on the Battlehawks this weekend in a game with playoff ramifications on ABC. It is a must win for the Defenders. A St Louis win and Brahmas win will eliminate DC from the playoffs. If they win, they would stay alive for another week. They need a win and a Brahmas loss to the Renegades to keep pace.

USFL Conference Playoff Picture
The Birmingham Stallions have been the class of the UFL, sitting at a perfect 7-0 after their win over the St Louis Battlehawks in a potential UFL championship game preview. Home field advantage is still at stake because the Michigan Panthers, at 5-2, beat the DC Defenders.
The Memphis Showboats and Houston Roughnecks, both at 1-6 are eliminated. At best both teams could be 4-6. At worst the Panthers could be 5-5.
The Panthers take on the Showboats at home while the Roughnecks take on the Stallions in Birmingham. A Stallions win will clinch home field advantage for the Conference Championship game.
