The Houston Roughnecks earned a hard-fought 17-9 victory over the Arlington Renegades in Week 4 of the UFL season. In a defensive battle, the Roughnecks managed to make key plays on both sides of the ball to secure their first win of the year. With this result, the UFL scores and UFL standings see the Roughnecks improve to 1-3, while the Renegades remain winless at 0-4.

Houston Roughnecks:

The Roughnecks’ offense, led by quarterback Reid Sinnett, did just enough to come out on top. Sinnett completed 18 of 28 passes for 191 yards and one touchdown. The ground game was led by the return of Mark Thompson, who rushed for 34 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.

The Renegades struggled to find consistency on offense, with quarterback Luis Perez completing 15 of 28 passes for 144 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. The running game was stifled, gaining only 40 yards on 18 carries.

The Renegades’ top performers were:

  • Luis Perez: 15/28, 144 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT
  • Deontay Burnett: 4 receptions, 58 yards, 1 TD
  • Tenny Adewusi: 9 total tackles, 1 sack

The Roughnecks’ defense was the key to their success, holding the Renegades to just 193 total yards and forcing two turnovers. With this win, Houston hopes to build momentum as they look to climb the UFL standings. The Renegades, on the other hand, will need to regroup and find a way to secure their first victory of the season.
