**Playoff spots are on the line as the defending champs visit Louisville and St. Louis eyes a postseason berth.**

## This Week's UFL Schedule

### [D.C. Defenders](https://uflnewshub.com/team/dc-defenders) at [Louisville Kings](https://uflnewshub.com/team/louisville-kings)

- When | Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 4:00 PM ET
- Where | Lynn Family Stadium, Louisville
- TV | ABC
- Line | D.C. Defenders -6 | O/U 46

The defending champion Defenders look to bounce back after getting torched 30-13 by Louisville last week. The Kings are hunting for their first home win at Lynn Family Stadium. Shannon Harris's squad can clinch a playoff spot with a victory, but Chris Redman's team won't go quietly after proving they can hang with the champs.

**Players to Watch:**

- **[Jordan Ta'amu](https://uflnewshub.com/ufl/jordan-taamu-makes-spring-football-history-latest-outing)** (Defenders, QB) — Leads the league with 1,453 passing yards and needs a bounce-back performance
- **[Deon Jackson](https://uflnewshub.com/player/deon-jackson-33148)** (Defenders, RB) — Third in UFL rushing with 332 yards and 5 touchdowns
- **[Cam Gill](https://uflnewshub.com/player/cam-gill-34234)** (Kings, DE) — Defensive leader who helped shut down the Defenders' offense last week

**Pick:** Kings 24-21. Louisville's confidence is sky-high after embarrassing D.C. last week, and home teams are tough to beat in revenge spots.

### [Houston Gamblers](https://uflnewshub.com/team/houston-gamblers) at [St. Louis Battlehawks](https://uflnewshub.com/team/st-louis-battlehawks)

- When | Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 7:00 PM ET
- Where | The Dome at America's Center, St. Louis
- TV | ABC
- Line | St. Louis Battlehawks -8 | O/U 44

The Battlehawks are riding a three-game winning streak and can punch their playoff ticket with a win over desperate Houston. Kevin Sumlin's Gamblers are 2-5 and need a miracle run to reach the postseason. Ricky Proehl's crew should handle business at home against the league's lowest-scoring offense.

**Players to Watch:**

- **Jarveon Howard** (Battlehawks, RB) — Second in UFL rushing with 340 yards, controls the ground game
- **Hakeem Butler** (Battlehawks, WR) — Second in receiving yards with 482 and a deep threat
- **John Rhys Plumlee** (Gamblers, QB) — Recently signed after NFL release, brings dual-threat ability

**Pick:** Battlehawks 27-14. St. Louis's running game will grind out a comfortable win as Houston's season ends in The Dome.
