The San Antonio Brahmas secured a hard-fought 15-12 victory over the Houston Roughnecks in a defensive battle. With the win, the Brahmas move to 5-2 on the season, maintaining their position in the XFL Conference. The Roughnecks, despite a valiant effort, drop to 1-6 and remain at the bottom of the USFL Conference.

The Brahmas offense struggled to find the end zone, with their lone touchdown coming on a 1-yard rush by John Lovett late in the fourth quarter. Kicker Ryan Santoso provided the rest of the scoring, connecting on field goals from 26 and 51 yards out. The top offensive performers for the Brahmas were:

The Roughnecks relied heavily on the leg of kicker J.J. Molson, who accounted for all of their points with field goals from 48, 31, 62, and 21 yards. The offense moved the ball but couldn’t punch it in when it mattered most. The top offensive performers for the Roughnecks were:
- Justin Hall: 5 receptions, 69 yards
- Jarrett Guarantano: 11/18 passing, 121 yards; 3 rushes, 14 yards
- Mark Thompson: 9 rushes, 38 yards
- T.J. Pledger IV: 11 rushes, 30 yards
- Anthony Ratliff-Williams: 3 receptions, 25 yards
In terms of the UFL standings, the Stallions lead the USFL Conference at 7-0, followed by the Panthers at 5-2. In the XFL Conference, the Battlehawks and Brahmas are tied atop at 5-2.
