In the updated UFL standings, the Birmingham Stallions (2-1) now sit atop the USFL Conference, ahead of the Michigan Panthers (1-1). Meanwhile, in the XFL Conference, the DC Defenders and St. Louis Battlehawks remain undefeated at 2-0, with the Arlington Renegades (2-1) closely behind after today’s loss. The Houston Roughnecks and Memphis Showboats (both 0-2 in the USFL Conference) and San Antonio Brahmas (0-2 in the XFL Conference) continue searching for their first wins of the season.

This tightly contested defensive battle showcased the UFL’s competitive balance, with the Stallions finding a way to win despite being outplayed for much of the game. Birmingham’s defense deserves tremendous credit for shutting down the Renegades’ offense in the second half, allowing just 84 total yards after halftime.
