# UFL to NFL Update: NFL Teams Look to UFL as Final Week of Preseason Begins

As the NFL goes into the final week of preseason games the UFL has claimed over 52 signings so far as of Tuesday Morning (8/19). The league saw 75 players earn NFL opportunities in 2024 with the hope of surpassing that metric this signing cycle. So far **80** players have worked out NFL during this signing cycle.
