As the 2025 UFL season is now 40% complete, UFL teams have come begun to settle in as QB play has started to level out throughout the league. Teams have now had plenty of data, analyze, adjust, and adapt to opposing defenses, while setting into their offensive schemes. After doing my original rankings before the season, and then redoing the list via YouTube, it’s time to continue to analyze and adjust our rankings on a weekly basis. 14 of the 24 UFL Quarterbacks playing this weekend with Eleven, taking significant passing attempts. This week we at UFL News Hub rank our UFL Quarterbacks, after the league’s Fourth week of play.

Honorable Mention:

Rocky Lombardi made his professional debut this week appearing in 3 snaps as the Michigan Panthers took care of the Memphis Showboats for their 3rd win of the season (and 40th in franchise history). Lombardi was a 5th round pick by the Michigan Panthers in the 2024 UFL Draft and is one of several members from the draft class on the team currently.

Manny Wilkins doesn’t get his ranking this week as a gruesome injury took him out of the game on the Battlehawks opening drive. Wilkins had to be carted off the field with a lower leg injury that led a scoop and score from Chris Odom. Wilkins’ future looks in doubt for not only the 2025 but also his football career right now.

Holton Ahlers got to throw his first pass of his professional career narrowly missing a touchdown pass in the red zone on the Renegades “Rhino” formation. Ahlers also made his usual cameos handing the ball off to his “battery-mate”, DeVeon Smith.

Week 5 Rankings:

11. Troy Williams Memphis Showboats Week Three Ranking #8

Stats: 4/8 13 Yds 0 TD 0 INT 1 Car 4 Yds

Williams got the “start” this week however, looked erratic in the split role he was in. The Showboats continued to use a 2 QB system, and as a play caller, Noel Mazzone is obviously still trying to find his footing calling Ken Whisenhunt’s Offense. Interim Head Coach Jim Turner has announced that the Showboats are going to be a different team scheme wise in week 5 with Mazzone implementing his system this week. Let’s see if that translates, as this week Williams looked a bit erratic, and uncomfortable especially when Michigan implemented a spy.

10. Max Duggan St. Louis Battlehawks Week Three Ranking N/R

Stats: 8/17 78 Yds 0 TD 2 INT 10 Car 42 Yds

Duggan was thrust into action for his first extended playing time in his professional career. Duggan had his moments but overly seemed like his timing was off, which may have to do with an elongated throwing motion. Duggan was sacked Six times throughout the game and clearly looked rattled. Despite a valiant effort, Duggan simply didn’t get it done, and may be the guy as the Battlehawks look to be without Manny Wilkins for a little bit.

9. Nolan Henderson Houston Roughnecks Week Three Ranking #1

Stats: 3/4 35 Yds 0 TD 0 INT 1 Car 6 Yds

Henderson and the Roughnecks look extremely efficient during his first start, unfortunately it was short lived. Henderson was ruled out early in the 2nd Quarter, taking a vicious hit that knocked him out of the game. Henderson looked to finally get in a rhythm prior to his injury.

8. Case Cookus Birmingham Stallions Week Three Ranking N/R

Stats: 1/2 36 Yds 0 TD 0 INT 1 Car -1 Yd

What a ride for Cookus. The NFL stints, his time with the Stars, outcasted to the Showboats under that terrible situation, only to be left unsigned up until training camp as the QB3 for the Stallions. Cookus when given the opportunity came in and was able to push the Stallions offense down the field from inside their own 5-yard line. In addition to his 36 yard “dime” to Davion Davis, Cookus gave a lead block for CJ Marable to move the chains.

7. EJ Perry Memphis Showboats Week Three Ranking #7

Stats: 8/16 74 Yds 0 TD 1 INT 9 Car 30 Yds

EJ Perry has been an extremely frustrating QB to watch this year. He’s adopted the mantra of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde when it comes to play on the field. When he’s good he’s a top tier QB in the UFL, when he struggles the results are simply anemic. Perry has done a better job of using his legs to keep the Showboats competitive however, Memphis is lacking consistency from their QB which has resulted in their 0-4 record. Perry should have another crack at proving he belongs in Week 5, hopefully with a week under Noel Mazzone guidance Memphis can bounce back.

6. Luis Perez Arlington Renegades Week Three Ranking #4

Stats: 17/25 149 1 TD 1 INT 1 Car 8 Yds

Perez’s ranking is a little bit effected due to a TD that was called back and a terrible pick-6 to Willie Harvey. Overall, with the help of Defense, and Special Teams unit, Perez managed the game effectively and ultimately delivered his usual clutch throws, his one scramble on 3rd down to move the chains, and converting the majority of their extra points.

5. Matt Corral Birmingham Stallions Week Three Ranking #5

Stats: 14/25 195 Yds 2 TD 1 INT 10 Car 52 Yds

Corral looked way more comfortable this week, as he starts settling into his starting role. Unfortunately, the common theme has been back up QBs stepping up this season which is what Corral did tonight. While it wasn’t perfect Corral battled and was to take care of the Roughnecks who were bringing heat all night. Unfortunately, Corral couldn’t finish the game leading Case Cookus to finish it out.

4.Jalan McClendon Houston Roughnecks Week Three Ranking N/R

Stats: 22/31 236 Yds 0 TD 1 INT 5 Car 17 Yds 1 TD

What a spark by McClendon. While Henderson and company looked proficient, McClendon took it to a whole different level. With McClendon taking over the Houston Offense the Roughnecks were able to finally take full advantage of his strong arm, and athletic ability that fans of the Vegas Vipers saw in 2023.

3. Kellen Mond San Antonio Brahmas Week Three Ranking #3

Stats: 14/20 121 Yds 1 TD 0 INT 3 Car 6 Yds

Mond wasn’t completely over the top this week but he played extremely complimentary football, along with managing the game to ensure San Antonio came out on top. Mond did a good job staying fluid in the pocket against a prolific Pass Rush from D.C., not getting sacked once. While Mond isn’t elite nor has he had a breakout game, he’s proven to be a competent, stabilizing force for San Antonio under interim Head Coach Payton Pardee.

2. Jordan Ta’amu D.C. Defenders Week Three Ranking #6

Stats: 19/31 300 Yds 1 TD 0 INT 10 Car 74 Yds 1 TD

Ta’amu had the UFL’s first 300 yard passing game this week, and was within 10 Yards of pay dirt for a 4th straight win as the Defenders QB. Ta’amu managed to take some of the “easy” throws completing over 60% of his passes this week. In addition through the air, Ta’amu put together one of week 4’s better rushing performance scoring on the ground while adding 74 rushing yards himself.

1. Bryce Perkins Michigan Panthers Week Three Ranking #2

Stats: 15/22 200 Yds 2 TD 0 INT 7 Car 45 Yds

Perkins solidified his position this week as one of the UFL’s most consistent QB through Four Weeks. Deadly with his, Perkins avoided pass rushers, escaping sacks, while also keeping the Showboats Defense off balance with their RPO game. Perkins is now separating himself the other QBs of the league as he’s become the MVP frontrunner of the 2025 UFL season, which usually bodes pretty well for those players earning an NFL contract.
