With Four weeks remaining after this recent slate of games the 2025 season is in its final stretch. The San Antonio Brahmas became the Sixth team to start multiple Quarterbacks with the Birmingham Stallions implementing Andrew Peasley into their Quarterback rotation. After doing my original rankings before the season, and then redoing the list via YouTube, it’s time to continue to analyze and adjust our rankings on a weekly basis. 12 of the 24 UFL Quarterbacks playing this weekend with 10, taking significant passing attempts. This week we at UFL News Hub rank our UFL Quarterbacks, after the league’s Sixth week of play.

Honorable Mention:

Holton Ahlers continued his run as being the most efficient QB in the UFL. The ECU standout once again in their jumbo package led way to a Renegades first down. While many consider Perez the “Spring King” after Two consecutive losses is it possible that Ahlers could earn an opportunity? Danny Etling also makes a nice cameo in week 6, in relief of an injured Bryce Perkins. Etling handed the ball off to Nate McCray who scampered his way for a 19-Yard gain, in addition to taking the final kneel down on a 38-14 Victory for the Panthers.

10. E.J. Perry Memphis Showboats Week Five Ranking N/A

Stats: 1/2 7 Yds 0 Car 0 Yds

Perry had a quick cameo in Week 6 coming in for the injured Dresser Winn, who took a massive hit. Perry managed to complete one pass, however, could not connect with Dee Anderson on 3rd down. Fortunately, Perry was able to allow the Showboats to pick up a field goal in their 21-20 loss.

9. Luis Perez Arlington Renegades Week Five Ranking #5

Stats: 16/23 145 0 TD 1 INT 2 Car 3 Yds

Perez looked extremely crisp in the first couple of drives and then tailored off towards the end. The Battlehawks aggressive pass rush led by Pita Taumoepenu (2 sacks, 2 FF, and multiple pressures) completely killed the any momentum for Perez. The Renegades are by no means “eliminated” for postseason play, but Perez does need to rekindle some of that 2023/24 magic.

8. Max Duggan St. Louis Battlehawks Week Five Ranking #2

Stats: 7/19 93 Yds 1 TD 0 INT 10 Car 49 Yds

Duggan is gritty. It’s not perfect but he’s aggressive and mobile. While I would argue his arm talent, and accuracy is better than Manny Wilkins, I’d argue that his extended release has effected the timing of his routes so much it’s leading to a less than stellar completion percentage. At this point it’s ride or die with Duggan, as switching to Brandon Silvers doesn’t seem like or in the Battlehawks gameplan.

7. Andrew Peasley Birmingham Stallions Week Five Ranking N/A

Stats: 5/8 79 Yds 0 TD 0 INT 2 Car 10 Yds

Peasley became the 4th Stallions QB to make appear in a game this week as Head Coach Skip Holtz wanted to let Peasley get a bit of experience if Cookus was injured. After putting together a couple effective series, Peasley went down with a Knee injury and may be sidelined for a bit.

6. Jordan Ta’amu D.C. Defenders Week Five Ranking #3

Stats: 19/36 259 Yds 2 TD 0 INT 5 Car 17 Yds

A tale of Two halves for Ta’amu. It seems Jordan despite exciting passing numbers can’t finish only putting up 14 points on Sunday. Ta’amu started off extremely efficient at one point completing over 75% of his passes. But the second half saw several overthrows, miscommunication, and pocket jitters that led to the Panthers keeping Ta’amu in check.

5.Dresser Winn Memphis Showboats Week Five Ranking #4

Stats: 22/34 207 Yds 1 TD 1 INT 3 Car 16 Yds 1 TD

A couple bad breaks for Winn not only push his ranking back but also led to a defeat for the Showboats. A miscommunication in pass protection, in addition to a jumped route by the Roughnecks led to Winn getting burned by Two mistakes to cancel out his Two Touchdowns. A lot to like in Memphis right now despite their 1-5 record.

4. Jalan McClendon Houston Roughnecks Week Five Ranking #6

Stats: 20/28 149 Yds 1 TD 0 INT 5 Car 4 Yds

I give McClendon the edge over Winn because of the gutsy 3rd down completion in addition to his ability to avoid trouble. While McClendon on the stat sheet wasn’t dynamic as a rusher, his ability to avoid the rush and pursuing tacklers to keep the down and distance manageable worked in favor for Houston this year.

3.Kevin Hogan San Antonio Brahmas Week Five Ranking N/A

Stats: 17/26 179 Yds 0 TD 1 INT 3 Car 8 Yds

Hogan played a lot better than his stat line would indicate. Watching the game, you’d count 4 drops including a touchdown to Jontre Kirklin, and about a 15-yard gain to Jacob Harris. Hogan pushed the ball downfield, took chances, evaded the rush, and made the Brahmas at time look competent. Unfortunately, there are a lot of issues in San Antonio and Hogan can’t put a band aid on them all.

2.Case Cookus Birmingham Stallions Week Five Ranking #2

Stats: 16/23 166 Yds 2 TD 0 INT 4 Car 16 Yds

In a week of down QB play and stellar defense Cookus in a shared role was able to lead the Stallions to 26 points in their win against the Brahmas. Cookus whose clearly still learning Birmingham’s Offense managed to string together another 2 Touchdown performance earning his 1st win as a starter in 2025.

1. Bryce Perkins Michigan Panthers Week Five Ranking #1

Stats: 13/18 188 Yds 2 TD 0 INT 9 Car 75 Yds 1 TD

Get used to it. Not much to report on this one. Whether it be by air or by land Perkins continues to be that guy. The next couple weeks should be a nice resume builder for Perkins regarding his NFL future, and if he can get over the hump with a victory over Birmingham Stallions in Week 9. But first on to Arlington.
