As week 3 comes to an end, several of the UFL QB rooms are beginning to take shape. With injuries, poor play, and everything in between After doing my original rankings before the season, and then redoing the list via YouTube, it’s time to continue to analyze and adjust our rankings on a weekly basis. 12 of the 24 UFL Quarterbacks playing this weekend with Eleven, taking significant passing attempts. This week we at UFL News Hub rank our UFL Quarterbacks, after the league’s Third week of play.
Honorable Mention:
Holton Ahlers receives an honorable mention nod this week having a cameo this week with the Renegades against the Stallions. Ahlers still hasn’t been fully utilized yet, other than as a trojan horse on short yardage situations. The Renegades suffered their first loss this weekend, and while QB1 Perez played well, you may wonder if there are certain sets Ahlers may take advantage over similar to how Lindsey Scott was used last year.
11. Anthony Brown Houston Roughnecks Week Two Ranking #8
Stats: 8/15 40 Yds 0 TD 0 INT 3 Car 21 Yds
Well, it seems that the Anthony Brown Experience is over. After getting benched in the first half Brown witnessed a Houston Roughnecks that showed life under Nolan Henderson. While I don’t think consistency and CJ Johnson are able to be used in the same sentence, he has made it clear on post-game Henderson is starting in week Four.
10. Danny Etling Michigan Panthers Week Two Ranking #9
Stats: 2/4 21 Yds 0 TD 0 INT 0 Car 0 Yds
I was a little confused to why Etling was getting the start, but I didn’t hate. Etling started slow, but was able to put together a solid set of plays before a late hit on a great pass that ended his day. Depending on the extent of the injury I don’t foresee much more from Etling for the rest of the season.
9. Manny Wilkins St. Louis Battlehawks Week Two Ranking #2
Stats: 16/29 143 Yds 1 TD 3 INT 4 Car 39 Yds
I was willing to look past Wilkins and his struggles until his 2nd interception. In field goal range, throwing across his body is never appropriate especially in that situation. Despite the Battlehawks Loss they’ll be living and dying by “Manny-Ball” and will have weather the storm of Wilkins especially if they can’t get their rushing attack going.
8. Troy Williams Memphis Showboats Week Two Ranking N/R
Stats: 4/8 63 Yds 0 TD 0 INT 4 Car 35 Yds 1 TD
Williams wasn’t bad at all for Memphis but coming in cold, he was able to manage the game and continue a competitive output for the Showboats. I’m not 100 percent onboard with a QB swap yet, as both QBs didn’t play their best especially against the Roughnecks
7. EJ Perry Memphis Showboats Week Two Ranking #6
Stats: 13/20 131 Yds 1 TD 2 INT 1 Car 6 Yds
Perry at one point was in line to be a top QB this week before two late picks and an injury led to Troy Williams getting the nod. I’m curious to see how they manage Perry and this QB situation as he has been the most dynamic passer between the two.
6. Jordan Ta’amu D.C. Defenders Week Two Ranking #5
Stats: 17/37 243 Yds 3 TD 2 INT 1 Car -3 Yds
Ta’amu like he’s done every week has battled and battled. Very similar to his start of his 2023 season Ta’amu has struggled to complete over 50% of his passes this season. Despite the inconsistent play, Ta’amu has managed to adopt a similar mindset of no risk it no biscuit as he’s pushing the ball down the field and D.C. is making a lot of big plays.
5. Matt Corral Birmingham Stallions Week Two Ranking #4
Stats: 19/41 255 Yds 1 TD 1 INT 4 Car 24 Yds
A win is a win, and Birmingham is now 2-1 under Corral. While it wasn’t pretty and at times Corral looked overmatched and for the majority of the game lacked any control. While Corral and the Stallions got it together on the final series of the game there have been calls from Stallions fans to give Case Cookus a look.
4. Luis Perez Arlington Renegades Week Two Ranking #1
Stats: 26/38 204 0 TD 0 INT 0 Car 0 Yds
Perez was a false start away from getting the Renegades to 3-0 record matching their win total from 2024. Unfortunately, Perez regressed a bit into a game manager role, as well as the Offense not being aggressive enough and not taking more shots down field. After going Two weeks of under 15 points, Perez and co need to adjust if they want to bring another championship to the city.
3. Kellen Mond San Antonio Brahmas Week Two Ranking #7
Stats: 19/31 152 Yds 1 TD 0 INT 6 Car 39 Yds
No Wade Phillips, no A.J. Smith, it didn’t matter as Mond played his best game under the tutelage of Payton Pardee. Mond wasn’t perfect but between his connection with Jacob Harris, and the ability to utilize Anthony McFarland the Brahmas despite being 0-3 do have some life with Mond, Pardee, and Harris working together with 7 games left this year. He also ran for some tough yardage as well buying time against an aggressive Michigan front Seven.
2. Bryce Perkins Michigan Panthers Week Two Ranking #3
Stats: 17/23 193 Yds 0 TD 1 INT 10 Car 30 Yds 2 TD
Perkins despite a bad interception, delivered for the Panthers, when called upon. His athletic ability forced Michigan into Two rushing touchdowns with his legs, in addition to utilizing his stable of receivers due to the trade of Marcus Simms. While it wasn’t Perkins best performance, good teams find ways to win.

1. Nolan Henderson Houston Roughnecks Week Two Ranking #10
Stats: 10/11 80 Yds 1 TD 0 INT 3 Car 15 Yds
Henderson finally had his chance to shine this week, and was able to lead the Roughnecks to their first win of the season. Henderson’s athletic ability may have opened the door for Zaquandre White who stepped up in a big way, especially when Henderson was at QB.

I honestly feel Manny Wilkins has been put on alert. Max Duggan has the ability to run and we aren’t sure about his passing. All I know is that I have not seen a cockier quarterback that had 1 career touchdown pass coming into today. Now he has 2 TDs and 6 Int. Anthony Becht really wants to be a head coach and backing a horse with those numbers is tough, so he better figure it out. To put it in perspective in 2023 AJ McCarron had 24 TDs to 6 Int. Right now Manny Wilkins has 2 TDs to 6 Int. It’s interesting that Trae Self is a pro style passer with excellent film. All I can say is, we will see.

I agree. Manny Wilkins is cocky like many QB’s are, however he hasn’t really done anything to justify his cockiness. He was flat terrible yesterday! It was the same last year when McCarron was injured. If the offensive line was not playing up to their abilities, Wilkins did very little to make up for them. Yesterday, the offensive line was having trouble with DC’s defense and Manny folded. Every time we started to get going there was either an interception, fumble or penalty. It wasn’t all Manny Wilkins fault obviously but he’s the captain of the ship.
Picking Manny Wilkins #9 in the rankings is fair after yesterday. There are 8 starting QB’s in this league so this means he was a notch below somebody’s back-up. You can’t have that kind of let down when you’re playing quarterback on a previously undefeated team who has designs on a championship. Coach Becht helped create this problem when he chose to go with a back-up with little experience prior to the beginning of the season.
DC played a pretty good game yesterday and certainly deserved to win although they had problems of their own throughout as well. Between the seemingly constant penalties on both teams and the commercial breaks, I’m not sure how either team ever got any sort of flow going. It felt like we were sitting and waiting for the game to start-up constantly.
