When the USFL announced that they were having a college draft in February of 2023, a lot of fans and media were extremely surprised, confused, and hopeful for the new wave of players that could be suiting up for the 2023 season and beyond. As we look at the USFL Draft over 2 Years removed let’s take a look at the 6th round of USFL Draft picks from the 2023 Draft.

40th Overall Michigan Panthers Defensive End Levi Bell

Bell was another member of the 2023 Panthers Draft Class (6 total) to appear in a game for the Michigan Panthers. Bell had spent 2023 to 2025 with the Panthers earning Two NFL contracts in that span as well. Bell totaled 4 sacks in 2023, spending the NFL season on the Seahawks practice squad. He’d return to Michigan in 2024 however injured himself during warmups late in the 2024 season. Bell once again earned an NFL contract however was cut by the Colts prior to the regular season. For the third time Bell resigned with the Panthers however was released on May 19th, after registering 4 tackles and having difficulty transitioning to Defensive Tackle.

41st Overall Pittsburgh Maulers Offensive Linemen Nash Jensen

Jensen coming out of North Dakota State was a 4-time National Champion who signed a UDFA deal with the Carolina Panthers in 2023. Jensen spent 2023 on the Panthers active roster starting 5 games before an injury in 2024 ended his tenure in the NFL. Jensen would sign with the Memphis Showboats in January 2025 starting all 10 games during the 2025 UFL season.

42nd Overall Houston Gamblers Defensive Back Keenan Isaac

Isaac was a UDFA by the Tampa Bay Bucs in 2023, appearing in 7 games for the team across 2023 and 2024. Isaac would be released by Tampa in November of 2024, finishing up the year with the Las Vegas Raiders before being released in February 2025. Isaac signed with the Houston Roughnecks (the same staff that drafted him) and started 8 games recording 2 interceptions and 27 tackles in 2025. He recently worked out for the Houston Texans last week, who are dealing with issues due to Ronald Darby’s retirement and Jimmie Ward’s arrest.

43rd Overall Memphis Showboats Offensive Lineman Jerome Carvin

Carvin has bounced around a lot since coming out of Tennessee. After being drafted by the Showboats, Carvin would sign with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2023 only to be waived due to injury in September. Carvin would then spend time on the practice squads of the Bears, Patriots, and Jaguars, even signing with Memphis in December of 2024 until the Jaguars called him back once more to finish the year out on their practice squad. Carvin opted to sign with the Texans on a futures deal only to be released on May 21st. Carvin despite being in the NFL for about two years has already been a part of 17 transactions earning $249,500 per Spotrac.

44th Overall New Orleans Breakers Defensive Lineman Dante Stills

Stills was a 6th round pick by the Arizona Cardinals in 2023 after earning all-conference honors out of West Virginia. In Two NFL seasons, Stills has been a key member of the Cardinals Defense appearing in 31 games recording 89 tackles and 8 sacks. He remains on the Cardinals roster and is going into his 3rd year of his rookie contract.

45th Overall New Jersey Generals Defensive Back Derrick Tucker

Tucker bounced around in college career starting at Texas A&M, at one-point committing to Tennessee State, and finishing at Texas Southern. Upon finishing his collegiate career, would go unselected in the NFL draft garnering little to no NFL interest. Tucker has been out of football since his college career.

46th Overall Philadelphia Stars Linebacker Jose Ramirez

Ramirez like Stills was drafted in the 6th round of the 2023 NFL draft. After spending 2023 on the practice squad for the Tampa Bay Bucs, Ramirez returned to Tampa in 2024 making his NFL debut while appearing in Four NFL games this past season. He remains on the roster for the 2025 season going into his 3rd year.

47th Overall Birmingham Stallions Offensive Lineman Colby Sorsdal

Sorsdal was a 5th round pick out of FCS William and Mary to the Detroit Lions in 2023. He’s appeared in 17 games over 2 seasons with 3 starts and his currently rostered for the 2025 season.
