Cowboys fans should be no stranger to Spring Football Stars joining their roster as the team has seen Pro-Bowlers like KaVontae Turpin, and Brandon Aubrey find huge success since joining “America’s Team”. On Tuesday they could find another Spring Football Star on their roster as Battlehawks Linebacker Willie Harvey is set to workout for the team Tuesday.

After spending Two plus seasons with the Cleveland Browns, Harvey would be drafted by the Battlehawks in 2022 becoming one of the most dominate tackles in the XFL and UFL. Harvey would lead the 2024 UFL season in tackles, amassing 78 tackles and 4.0 sacks enroute to an All-UFL season. In his spring football career Harvey has amassed 138 tackles for St. Louis in Two seasons.

Harvey hopes to join fellow spring league players like KaVontae Turpin, Brandon Aubrey and Josh Butler all of which are still rostered on the Cowboys whether it be on the Active Roster or Practice Squad. Since 2022, the Cowboys have had Christian Sam (LB), Tucker Addington (LS), Turpin (RS/WR), Aubrey (K), Josh Butler (DB), and Martavis Bryant (WR), all of whom except Sam have earned a paycheck from Dallas. Last season the Battlehawks had 16 players earn NFL contracts after the 2023 XFL season with several appearing in NFL games.
