This announcement is significant for fans who had purchased season tickets for teams now NOT part of the UFL.

In his tweet, Gonella stated that season ticket holders of the Orlando Guardians, Vegas Vipers, and Seattle Sea Dragons from the XFL, as well as those of the USFL’s Maulers, would receive full refunds. This refund includes all handling and facility fees, ensuring fans are completely reimbursed. The process began immediately, with emails sent to all affected ticket holders in the relevant markets.

The UFL’s inaugural season brings together eight teams, five from the XFL and three from the USFL. These teams include the Birmingham Stallions, Houston Roughnecks, Memphis Showboats, Michigan Panthers, Arlington Renegades, D.C. Defenders, San Antonio Brahmas, and St. Louis Battlehawks. The league’s training camp is set to begin on February 23rd, 2024, in Arlington, with a season spanning 10 weeks followed by a 2-week playoff, totaling 12 weeks of competitive football.
