Checking in on the UFL

Pretty interesting article courtesy of SBJ. Looks like the week 2 ESPN and NFLN matchups had slightly higher ratings than reported. "Going head-to-head against the Final Four on April 4, Louisville-Orlando drew just 308,000 viewers on ESPN. The next day, Birmingham-Houston became the first ESPN game moved to NFL Network since the acquisition, and it drew just 196,000 viewers on NFLN. I believe that. And thx for this article link. For example The week 1 ESPN PR clearly said one game got 938k and avg was 718k. which puts the 2nd ESPN game at 498k, yet people were reporting 466k. I track the viewership and I'm going with ESPN PR over ProgInsider(PI) which may be missing streaming. I'll also say I think the Attendance #'s looked really goosed up last year in alot of cases and we may be getting more real #'s.
