Attendance Review thru week 7

While attendance is down overall (thru week 7) from last year 12,053 vs 10,405. A drop of 1,648 per game. I think the numbers, in general, are more realistic. Meaning they were inflated more in 2025. * Note: 2025 had 4 StL games vs 3 in 2026, so that accounts for some of the overall drop. But why I wanted post about attendance was - the underlying culprit here is StL. The other teams net out to about the same as last year. Taking out StL thru week 7 - 2025 was 9,094 while 2026 is 8,855 a drop of 239. StL while still the clear attendance leader is down from 29,805 (2025) to 23,321 (2026) - a drop of 6,484. While Mike Repole moved to smaller stadiums to make smaller crowds look and feel better for fans, not to increase attendance per se, there's work to do. But lets not forget - this is a TV league first and competitive games help. The league hopes Fox and ABC/ESPN are happy so they keep it coming. LFG!
