The San Antonio Brahmas, an XFL team, embarked on their inaugural season in 2023. This marked the beginning of their journey as a professional American football franchise. They were a part of the XFL, competing as one of the eight teams in the league for the 2023 season. The Brahmas played their home games at the Alamodome and were under the guidance of head coach Hines Ward.
In their first season, the San Antonio Brahmas recorded a 3-7 win-loss record, placing them third in the XFL South division. Despite their efforts, they did not qualify for the playoffs that year. This initial season set the foundation for the team, providing valuable experience and insights as they prepared for future competitions in the XFL.
