The Dallas Renegades are looking to stay perfect in Week 3 action against a team in the Columbus Aviators that is looking to get their first win as a franchise.
Less than a week ago, the Renegades took down the St. Louis Battlehawks 31-15 on a rare Tuesday game where they for the second straight game scored over 30 points and won by double digits. Renegades quarterback Austin Reed has thrown six touchdowns in two games while wide receiver Tyler Vaughns scored a hat trick against St. Louis.
It's a different story for the Aviators who have had over a week to rest and prep for the game after losing to the DC Defenders 44-26 last week. Columbus surrendered 230 rushing yards in the game as they look to retool themselves for a season-defining matchup.

What to Watch for: Columbus Aviators
Columbus's offense runs through quarterback Jalan McClendon as he has had to lean on his legs more often as he is the only player in the league that is top five in passing and rushing yards. Getting running backs like Toa Taua, John Lovett, and Zaquandre White is key in helping out the offense.
Wide receiver Tay Martin has been a star in the making for this Aviators team with McClendon saying earlier this week that he couldn't understand why he is not in the NFL. Watch for Martin to be the main target in this passing game.
Defensively, it's as simple as making sure they are getting pressure on Reed throughout the game. Guys like Kenny Willekes and Ron Stone Jr. have been the main pass rushers all year and will have to be warriors in this game to help slow down the UFL's best offense.
What to Watch for: Dallas Renegades
Nothing on offense really has to change. Reed has firm control of the passing game as he well on his way to the NFL at the pace he is playing at. One thing will be to not lean on big running plays and more about consistently picking up four to five yards per carry for Dallas.
This secondary has so many lockdown corners like Shaun Wade, Ajene Harris, and Steven Jones Jr. dominating. They need to support their front seven to force them to be one dimensional.
Aviators-Renegades Prediction
All the pressure is on Columbus to perform well as the Renegades are coasting through two weeks. This is a potential trap game for the Renegades and coming off the short week will be tough, but this roster is about as deep as there is in the UFL.
Dallas Renegades 34, Columbus Aviators 18
