Betting Line: Orlando Storm (+2.5), Birmingham Stallions (-2.5), O/U 45.5 Points

Week 4 of the 2026 UFL season features a key matchup between the Orlando Storm, who are surging with a 3-0 record, and the Birmingham Stallions, who have lost momentum after two close defeats and sit at 1-2. The game, taking place in Birmingham, will see the winner emerge as an early playoff contender, while the losing team will be forced to reassess its strategy for the remainder of the UFL season. Therefore, the stage is set for a critical matchup for both the Orlando Storm and the Birmingham Stallions that will feel like an early playoff game for both teams.

For the first three games of the season, the Orlando Storm have relied on a balanced offensive attack that has been led by the efficient play of Storm quarterback Jack Plummer. In addition, the Storm leads the league, only allowing 17.3 points per game. However, the Storm offense is only averaging 69.7 rushing yards per game, and that means that the Storm need running back Jashaun Corbin to have a breakout game on the ground against the Stallions defense.

So far this season, the Birmingham Stallions have struggled to find consistency as they begin the A.J. McCarron era. They were previously regarded as the UFL's best team over the last two seasons. However, the Stallions now face offensive issues, especially turnovers and inconsistent performances. Despite having a wealth of former NFL talent, much of the team's struggles stem from inconsistent play by quarterback Matt Corral. Even though Corral has struggled, the Stallions boast a loaded wide receiver group: Deon Cain, Justyn Ross, and Laviska Shenault. For Birmingham to avoid a third consecutive loss, the team must establish its running game early and attack downfield with play-action passes.

Orlando Storm Key to Victory #1: Pressure Matt Corral and Force Mistakes

The biggest problem the Birmingham Stallions have faced this season is quarterback inconsistency. During the first three games of the 2026 season, Corral has missed numerous reads, demonstrated a lack of accuracy, and turned the ball over several times. The cause of Corral's mistakes has been his inability to maintain his composure when feeling pressure from the opposing defense. The Orlando Storm's defensive front seven needs to come to Birmingham ready to pressure Matt Corral and force him into making poor decisions, leading to turnovers. Orlando's defensive front seven is led by Keshawn Banks, who has 3 quarterback sacks for the season so far. If the Storm's defense can rattle Corral early and force him into turning the ball over, the Storm would have the inside track to picking up another win.

Orlando Storm Key to Victory #2: Sustain a Balanced Attack on Offense

So far this season, the Orlando Storm have had one of the most balanced offensive attacks in the UFL. A big part of their offensive success has been quarterback Jack Plummer's outstanding play. However, the Storm still have room for growth, which needs to come by improving their running game on offense. So far this season, Storm running back Jashaun Corbin has rushed for 143 yards and scored two touchdowns while establishing himself as an excellent dual-threat running back. He needs to be more explosive to help set the Storm offense up for more explosive plays. In addition, the Storm could be without wide receiver K.J. Hamler, which would put a greater workload on Chris Rowland unless Orlando can get its play-action attack going early and often.

Orlando Storm Key to Victory #3: Contain Birmingham's New Offensive Weaponry

During the offseason, the Birmingham Stallions focused on upgrading their passing attack by adding Justyn Ross and Laviska Shenault Jr. to complement Deon Cain and Jaydon Mickens. Orlando's defense will need to be intentional about staying on top of those receivers and keeping the game in front of them. If the Storm's defensive secondary fails to contain the Stallions arsenal of passing threats, then this could be a very difficult matchup for the Storm's defensive secondary. Orlando's defensive back Nate Meadors and Micah Abraham have been solid players in the Storm's defensive secondary. This week, the secondary will be tested early and often by the Stallions' passing game, but if Orlando can contain Baltimore's passing attack, they will need to control the tempo on offense. The Storm's ability to win the line of scrimmage while playing defense will most likely determine which team wins this game.

Orlando Storm Key to Victory #4: Demonstrate Discipline in the Red Zone

Efficiency in the red zone for the Storm and the Stallions will be a significant factor in who can win this game. The Stallions have lost their last two games due to inefficiency in the red zone. Birmingham's inefficiency in the red zone is why the Stallions are currently riding a 2-game losing streak. It will be important for the Orlando Storm to force the Stallions to settle for field goals rather than scoring touchdowns. Therefore, in the Storm's defensive secondary, they can keep the Stallions offense in front of them, allowing them to commit more rushers to generating pressure against Matt Corral. In addition, the Storm's offense needs to be efficient in the red zone and put touchdowns on the scoreboard, which will add to the pressure on the Birmingham offense and the Stallions' quarterback, Matt Corral.

Game Prediction: Orlando Storm 32, Birmingham Stallions 29
