Atlanta Falcons to Sign UFL WR Antwane “Juice” Wells Following Columbus Aviators' Season

The Columbus Aviators announced on Wednesday the signing of wide receiver Antwane Wells following his season in the UFL. UFL players became eligible to sign with NFL teams this past Monday following the UFL season.

WR Antwane Wells - Ole Miss (6’0, 204)

Antwane Wells played in 9 games with 4 starts for the Aviators this season and recorded 25 catches on his 39 targets for 237 yards and 2 touchdowns. By my count, he had 7 missed tackles over the season from defenders over the season, making for a higher rate of missed tackles forced for the number of receptions.

Wells started his collegiate career at James Madison, where he played in 2020 and 2021, recording 116 receptions for 1,853 yards and 21 touchdowns. He transferred to the University of South Carolina, where he played in 15 games with 9 starts and caught 71 passes for 965 yards and 7 touchdowns from 2022 to 2023.

He played his final season of collegiate ball in 2024 with Ole Miss, where he played in 13 games with 7 starts and caught 28 passes for 553 yards and 6 touchdowns.

Wells signed as an undrafted free agent with the New York Giants in 2025, where he caught 4 passes for 24 yards in the preseason before spending a couple of months on the practice squad.
