After the Battlehawks opted to allow Quarterback Harrison Frost to sign with the CFL’s Hamilton Ti-Cats, St. Louis is set to lose another player to the CFL. First reported by James Larsen of PFN, the Battlehawks appear to be without Offensive Tackle Bradley Ashmore who will be joining the Calgary Stampeders.
Ashmore has spent the last two seasons with Battlehawks after being selected by the team in the 2024 UFL college draft. After serving as a reserve offensive lineman in 2025, Ashmore would be the team’s primary right tackle in 2026, and will now be on his way to the CFL for a new opportunity.
It’s unknown if the recent set of UFL players joining the CFL will be there for the long term or will be back on UFL teams come this spring. So far Frost, Stallions DB Lance Boykin, and Defenders’ Derrick Roberson have all joined CFL teams since the conclusion of the season.
So far this offseason the Battlehawks have seen four players earn their releases moving forward. The team is coming off a 6-4 season, and their 3rd consecutive playoff berth that ended in a third consecutive early exit. The Battlehawks roster currently sits at
